Our True Identity and Dementia

Our true, inherent identity is that we are beloved children, made in the image and likeness of God. Dementia does not destroy our true identity, but does pose a particular challenge, particularly in Western society. How does our faith grapple with the challenge of dementia, and honour our identity as beloved children of God? Drawing from Scripture, select theologians, spiritual care providers and experience, this presentation briefly engages the previous question and provides some touchstones.
