Parish communities and Catholic dioceses are discovering the importance of providing vital support for people experiencing mental health challenges. This involves educating to eliminate stigma, developing support systems, and empowering leaders with tools and insights to accompany people through their mental health journeys.
Panellists:

Myron Rogal
Myron currently coordinates the Office of Justice and Peace for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon and has a passion for the application of the Social Teaching of the Catholic Church within all levels of society.

Dr. Christine Taylor
Dr. Christine Taylor has been the Director of Evangelization and Catechesis for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Prince Albert for sixteen years. For the last few years, she has also had oversight of the Prince Albert Diocesan Pastoral Care Commission. She is a wife, to Dcn. Brad Taylor, a prison chaplain. They have one daughter and recently became grandparents.

Deacon Eric Gurash
Deacon Eric Gurash is a convert to the Catholic faith and a certified spiritual director. He works as the director of Communications for the Archdiocese of Regina and co-directs Emmaus Support Mental Health Ministries, with his wife, Melissa, offering spiritual peer support for individuals with mental health challenges and their families.

Father Andre Lalach
Father Andre is a priest of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon, pastor of Dormition & District Parishes, Campus Minister at St. Thomas More College, and Counsellor at the USask Student Wellness Centre.
