Christopher Hrynkow is a Full Professor of Religion and Culture who loves teaching in the Religious Studies, Peace Studies and Catholics Studies distinctive area programs at St. Thomas More College. On sabbatical this fall, he is researching for a book project that intersects with health issues in a number of ways, The People’s Priest, Politician, and Peace Activist: Revisiting the Life of “Father Bob” Ogle.

In recent years papal teaching has provided practical foundations for fostering genuinely hospitable policies and practices.  Bridging past and present papal thought, these teachings are true wellsprings – vital sources of hope – that can animate and transform the way we approach care for vulnerable people, the elderly and people who find themselves excluded.
